IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!
Before the hustle and bustle of Christmas really sets in, this could be the year you finally get ahead, and buy your Christmas cards early! There are only six more Mondays before the last Christmas postal dates, so why hesitate?
This year our cards have been adorably designed by Lexi, aged 7 and are kindly sponsored by local business Midas.
You can buy a pack of 10 cards for the bargain price of £5. The inside has been left blank for your own personal message. Each pack also contains details of how the little ones you know could be the winner of our 2017 Christmas card design competition.
We are happy to deliver for free in and around Ipswich, further afield will require additional postage and packaging costs.
The money we receive will help East Anglian children to access music based therapies, what a great gift to give.
Please contact us through Facebook or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know how many packs you would like and the delivery address. We will then advise you on how you can pay. After this, we will make arrangements to get your cards to you ASAP!
Thank you for supporting us and best wishes to you all!
This time last week, we would have just about recovered from the mania
(and hangovers!) of our 2016 Summer Fundraiser.
We’re amazed it’s our third year already! Therefore, we just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported us on Saturday the 23rd of July – it was great to see a mix of old and new face.
With your help we managed to raise a whopping, just over £1,600! That’s such a brilliant figure and will go such a long way to supporting young people of East Anglia through music therapy.
We have just updated our Gallery over on our Facebook page (we are still looking into fixing our Website Gallery, so stay tuned for that update in the future) – and we want to also say a big thank you to the brilliant Rob Buttigieg, who posed as Photographer for the day, catching some cracking shots for us. (Were you there? You might have been snapped… feel free to tag yourself, share and let us know if you have!)
As always, another big thank you to The Steamboat Tavern for being great hosts.
A round of applause for the fabulous acts that entertained us through-out the day, whether you stepped up to the open mic in the day, or you were one of rocking evening bands. We loved you all!
Also, to the whole of team Krissy & Friends and the volunteers who all pulled their weight in making this lovely event happen.
Finally, thank you again to you all, because if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t be able to provide music therapy to those that need it. We really appreciate your support, and hope to see you again soon!
We have an exciting announcement to make!
We can’t believe how lucky we are that local band Fisti Kuffs have been working with the International Rapper and Music Producer MC Lars to write a single dedicated to us.
This song has been in the making for over a year and recorded by Ian Crow of Amblin’ Man Recording Studios local recording studio based in Otley, Suffolk before being sent to the USA for MC Lars himself to apply his unique brand of ‘nerdcore’ ingeniousness.
You can download the single for just 79p from iTunes, stream online via Spotify or purchase for just £1 via this link here.
100% of the money received will be given to Krissy & Friends Foundation to help with our work in the community.
We cannot thank enough to all those involved in writing, performing and recording this great single. On behalf of all of us at KFF, cheers!
And to you music lovers out there – we all hope that you enjoy this track. Why not have a jam while supporting our cause? Thank you for supporting us!
Ahead of our Multi-pub Music Quiz that will be happening in September 2016, we are hosting a one-off Music Quiz Night at The Steamboat Tavern in Ipswich, on Friday the 18th of March from 7pm onwards.
Teams of 4 (max), with a minimum donation of £1pp and there will be a prize for winning team.
For more information, join the discussion on our Facebook event.
WE HAVE IT… We are now officially registered with the Charity Commission 1164369!
This means that all your hard earned money you have kindly donated will be monitored and inspected to ensure we use it as we have said we will, together we can make a difference.
Thank you so much for all your support so far, and we hope it continues!
We recently held a meeting, so as promised, there is indeed news! SO BRACE YOURSELVES AS WE HAVE LOTS OF IT!
On the 23rd of April (just two weeks away!) will be a very special day for us as WE TURN ONE! Yep, it will be our first official Birthday! We will be meeting and handing over the money we have raised so far thanks to your kind donations to EACH and will be even closer to being a registered charity! We will follow this exciting day by a Birthday Bash in the late afternoon/evening. Details are still being finalised, but when they are, we will create an event ASAP and YOU ARE ALL INVITED! So make a memo of the date because we’d love to celebrate with you and shake all our loyal supporters’ hands!
In other exciting news, we can also confirm that we will be in partnership with the Beer Festival in Ipswich from 11 to 13 June. We have all sorts of plans up our sleeves which will be explained at a further date but for now, make a note these dates because we will be there and we want to see you there too! In fact we would love it if some of you become involved too. Is anyone interested in a one-off volunteer job? It will be great fun, and you can give as little or as much time as you want! If you are interested or at least want more information, email us at email@example.com with the subject “BEER FEST VOLUNTEER” or go to our contact us page.
Finally, once again, many details still need to be sorted before we can give you the full facts but save the dates of Saturday July 18 and Sunday July 19 because due to the success of last year’s gig and family day, we will be doing the same again! On Saturday evening there will be a mix of bands with exciting raffles and yummy food while on Sunday there will be a family day with entertainment and games for all! We hope to have an even greater success with it than last year!
We understand these are brief descriptions, but they are all still works in progress but the dates are confirmed so we figured if we gave you all an early heads up, you can jot them in your diaries and come along. Thanks again for your continued support!
